Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM)

IASTM is the process of using a tool to treat soft tissue dysfunction.  The tools are used as an extension of our hands to create change within the tissue.  We are able to effect the superficial layers of fascia (dense connective tissue between muscle and skin), and the neurological sensation of pain derived from the nerve endings within the tissue. This is used as a great adjunct treatment to the other therapies we offer to improve the conditions we treat.
