Manual Therapy

Manual therapy is the process in which a skilled practitioner uses their hands to induce passive mobilization/manipulation to a patient’s joints, and/or soft tissue. By using our hands we are able to assess the quality of movement and feel of the tissue to make adjustments to our forces as we treat.  Our therapist understand the importance of manual therapy, and when to incorporate it into our treatment programs to achieve optimal results.  They have completed a two year fellowship in orthopaedic manual therapy, which has given them a leading skillset and forward thinking as it relates to the use of manual therapy.
